Research
I defended my PhD thesis on the 22nd June 2012.
The examination committee was formed by Prof. Aurelio Cappozzo, Prof. Hans Christer Holmberg, Prof. Laila Craighero.
The project was focused on studying biomechanics and bioenergetics of locomotion in children with Cerebral Palsy.
Supervisors of the project were Prof. Carlo Capelli, Dep. of Neurological Sciences, University of Verona, Italy and Dr. Nicola Petrone, Dep. of Mechanical Engineering, University of Padova, Italy.
From October to December 2010 I was in Oxford, UK, for a short period of research at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of Dr. Amy Zavatsky, Dr. Julie Stebbins and Eng. Joanne Bates (http://www.ibme.ox.ac.uk/biomechanics/people).
Since February 2011 I have been involved in the clinical activity of the Gait Analysis Laboratory of San Bassiano Hospital, Bassano Del Grappa (VI), Italy, under the supervision of Cristina Smiderle, MD.
During 2012 I collaborated with the Bioengineering and Movement Analysis Laboratory of the Azienda Ospedaliera (Hospital) of Padova (Italy).
Since December 2013 I have been working as bioengineer in the Movement Analysis Laboratory of IRCCS "Eugenio Medea", Associazione La
Nostra Famiglia, Conegliano Veneto (Italy) together with Enrico Trevisi and Elena Carraro, MDs.
